Kościeliska Valley is one of the most popular valleys in the Western Tatras, and in the past, it was an important center for mining and metalworking. Visitors can explore cave systems here, including Mroźna and Mylna, and admire rock formations in Kraków Gorge and the Smreczyński Staw lake. This place is characterized by intense karst phenomena and a preserved pastoral tradition, as evidenced by the numerous shepherd huts in the meadows. The entire route leads along the bottom of the valley to the mountain hut at Mała Polana Ornaczańska, offering insights into the historical and natural heritage of the region.
