Zagon Niżni, located in the Valley of the Five Polish Lakes, is a vast meadow situated on the northeastern slopes of Zagonna Turnia in the High Tatras. In the past, this area was part of the Hala Pięć Stawów, serving as a pasture for sheep grazed by local highlanders. This place is distinguished by its characteristic terrain, which slopes down towards the surface of the Wielki Staw Polski lake, forming an important element of the high mountain panorama. Currently, this area is known for its high susceptibility to avalanches, making it an important observation point for rescue services and tourists traveling along the valley floor.
