Gubałówka is a hill with an altitude of 1126 meters above sea level, located in the Gubałówka Foothills. It is famous for offering the most popular panoramic view of the Tatra Mountains and Zakopane. Its importance as a tourist destination increased dramatically after 1938, when a cable car was built in just 168 days. This cable car remains the main attraction of the area. At the summit and along the ridge, there are numerous hiking trails, a ski resort, and a distinctive 102-meter-high radio and television mast, making Gubałówka one of the most visited places in the Podhale region.
