Kotelnica is a double-peaked mountain with a height of 946 meters above sea level, located on the main ridge of the Lubania range in the Gorce Mountains. Its name comes from the pastoral traditions and refers to a place where sheep used to rest, as they were once grazed on the local meadows, which are now mostly overgrown. The red-marked Main Beskid Trail runs along the slopes of the mountain, representing the main attraction for tourists hiking through this forested area. Despite limited visibility, this place stands out for its tranquility and its historical heritage related to the old shepherd economy.
