Obidowiec is a peak rising to 1106 meters above sea level, located in the Gorce National Park, and situated on the popular Main Beskid Trail between Turbacz and Stare Wierchy. This place attracts tourists with its picturesque views of the Tatra Mountains and the Beskid Mountains from the surrounding meadows, as well as with the tragic history of the 1973 plane crash of a medical aircraft, which is commemorated by a symbolic monument. Thanks to its location and well-developed network of trails, the peak is an excellent stopping point, connecting the unique natural values of the Gorce Mountains with historical education.
