Stajkowa (706 meters above sea level) is a picturesque peak in the Radziejowa Range, located directly above Krościenko nad Dunajcem, and mentioned in documents as early as the 14th century. This place combines a rich history, linked to the former defense system of the lower castle, with modern recreational infrastructure, such as a ski lift and a nature trail called “Leśny Zakątek” (Forest Corner). A unique feature of the mountain is the Stations of the Cross path leading up its slopes, and the surrounding meadows offer exceptional views of the Pieniny and Tatra mountains.
