Świnicka Pass (2,051 meters above sea level) is a distinct saddle separating Świnica from Pośrednia Turnia, marking the geographical boundary between the High Tatras and the Western Tatras. It is a popular hub for hiking trails, providing easy access from Kasprowy Wierch and the Gąsienicowa Valley, and offering spectacular panoramic views on both sides of the ridge. Historically known since the 19th century, it became an important point in the history of mountaineering, thanks in part to the pioneering winter expeditions led by Mariusz Zaruski.
