Wielka Polana Małołącka is a vast area in the Dolina Małej Łąki valley, formed in the place of a former glacial lake filled with sediments. In the past, this area was the center of the bustling Hala Małej Łąki pasture, and even today, traces of the former pastoral economy can be found here in the form of the foundations of shepherd huts. Today, the meadow serves as a key hub for hiking trails, offering a unique panorama of the steep northern faces of Giewont and Wielka Turnia. The uniqueness of this place is highlighted by its rich flora, including rare plant species such as Siberian meadow-grass, which sets it apart from other valleys in the Tatra Mountains.
