### Wilderness and the vastness of the highest ridge

The Radziejowa range is a suggestion for those who are looking for a bit more physical exertion and less hustle and bustle in the Sądecki Beskid mountains than in the vicinity of Krynica. The trails leading from Jaworki, Szczawnica, or Piwniczna-Zdrój are characterized by significant ascents, which makes conquering the main ridge a very rewarding experience. This area is largely forested, but numerous subalpine meadows (such as those in the area of Wielki Rogacz) constantly offer hikers wide panoramic views.

The central point of the range is Radziejowa, which, despite its height, does not have natural alpine meadows, which is why the observation tower is key here for tourists eager for panoramic views. This area is known for its dynamic terrain – numerous streams, deep valleys, and rocky outcrops make the landscape more varied than in the neighboring Jaworzyna Range. It is here that you can feel the true atmosphere of the Beskid forest, where nature still reigns supreme.

It is worth mentioning Przehyba, which for many is the heart of this region. It is a vast junction of trails, where a modern mountain hut offers a standard rarely found in the higher parts of the mountains, while maintaining the atmosphere of a mountain base. From the terrace in front of the building, there is a view of the Sądecka Basin, which, after dark, with the lights of the cities illuminated, looks as impressive as the Tatra mountains during the day. The Radziejowa range is an ideal compromise between physical challenge and the soothing tranquility of the Carpathian forest.
